This Friday, 4 August marks International Beer Day – and, of course, that is the best day for us to open the WORLD’S FIRST escape room about BREWING BEER!
STIK Laško (the Sport, Tourism, Information and Cultural Centre of Laško) and Enigmarium® have joined forces in a new, original project, and in the very building that the first mug of beer was brewed in Laško nearly 200 years ago, are now opening a completely unique escape room: BREWER’S GOLD.
Don’t miss out on these unique challenges that you won’t find anywhere else. Based on a symbolic level and conceived in such a way that each player can find success at something during the gameplay. Along with diverse and fun challenges, this time we have infused the room with an added value – the story, ambient, challenges and stunning high-tech gadgets are completely immersed in the city’s history and blended with real facts, so that in addition to having a lot of fun, you also get to playfully learn something new.
And that’s not all – Anyone who would like to experience the city of Laško in a new way, that is, through a participatory walk, and get to know the lesser-known side of the city, can now fulfil that wish in the exciting city adventure game UNLOCK Laško. Representing a completely new and original concept of an outdoor game, using the legend of the parish priest “Divji Farovž”, we have made a game out of elements of the old town centre and in this way gamified Laško, transforming the streets into fascinating spots, full of secrets, hidden codes and puzzles.
Today’s tourists and visitors want more hands-on experiences, especially ones in which they can enjoy themselves while actively participating. That’s precisely the type of experience that Enigmarium® offers through the concept of escape rooms and the gamification of cultural heritage. If a game is combined with a captivating story, tied to the local history, players (visitors) enthusiastically tell about their experiences at home and become not only ambassadors of our brand, but also ambassadors and promoters of a town or city – and this is fantastic new for Slovenian tourism!
