ER Champ 2024: The World Championship in Escape Room Games is Coming to Prague – Join Us Live!

Get Ready for the Most Thrilling Day for Escape Room Enthusiasts! The 8th World Championship in Escape Room Games – ER Champ 2024 will reach its peak on November 25, 2024, in Prague. The best teams from around the world will compete for the title of World Champion. Follow this incredible event live and become part of the global escape room community! An Event You Can’t Miss!

ER Champ is the biggest escape room competition in the world, now in its ninth year, bringing together the best teams and exciting thousands of fans. This year, the final will feature the top 10 teams from 37 countries, who have defeated more than 2,000 players in the qualifiers, with teams from Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia also participating.

This year’s final will be hosted at Fun Arena in Prague, a modern entertainment center where teams will compete in two specially designed escape rooms. It’s an opportunity to watch top “mental athletes” take on extremely challenging puzzles and test their analytical and physical abilities.

Lock.me – the tireless organizers of the event

ER Champ is organized by the team at Lock.me, one of the leading platforms for reviewing and connecting the escape room community. The competition began nine years ago as a Polish championship but quickly grew into a global phenomenon due to its rising popularity. Much of the credit goes to the altruistic organizers who invest countless hours and creativity into the event, ensuring it remains free for everyone to participate.

As Bartosz Idzikowski, the organizer of ER Champ and a representative of Lock.me, states:
“The event took off on its own. We never expected the interest to reach such global proportions. Until now, the finals have always been held in Poland, where it all started. But due to the overwhelming enthusiasm, it’s time to move forward. The Czech escape room scene is particularly close to us, Prague is renowned for its excellent escape rooms, and we’ve established a partnership with Fun Arena, where we’re organizing a true escape room celebration.”
