What is Unlock?

The Game

In this exciting city adventure, true stories from history intertwine with local landmarks, fun challenges, and trials that offer something for every team member. Your team of two to five players will face six unique challenges in an approximately hour-and-a-half-long adventure, taking you into the life and times of the Gottscheers, the German-speaking community that lived in this area for more than 600 years and developed its own language, customs, and culture.

Your mission

Adam, the great-grandson of Wilhelm the Gottscheer, discovers a strange letter while cleaning out an old attic.

In it, his great-grandfather reveals that he hid a valuable treasure in Kočevje – but the key to the secret lies in a series of challenges he left hidden around the town.

Will you be the one to uncover the treasure?

When, where, how?

After booking your time slot in advance through the reservation form on the website, we will meet five minutes before the start in the centre of Kočevje. We will give you the instructions for your mission and hand over a locked book of challenges. Now your luck is in your own hands – you have 90 minutes to find the precious treasure on this fun journey through the city’s history. Surprises and diverse challenges await you.

The flat price for the Unlock game is 72 EUR / per time slot / for two to four players (fifth player: additional 18€).

Instructions

Please arrive at the starting location (BEARLOG HOSTEL, Ljubljanska cesta 4, 1330 Kočevje) on time, 5 minutes before your booked time slot begins. The game path will lead you through the streets of Kočevje, so we kindly ask you to follow traffic regulations and the general terms published on this page. The game props you receive at the start must be brought with you to the final location (a deposit of €20 will be requested, which will be returned upon their return). If you find yourself in doubt or get stuck, the gamemasters will assist you with hints via walkie-talkie.
