The new tourist attraction at Prem Castle revives tourism and cultural heritage in an innovative and playful way.<\/strong><\/h1>\n

\"\"<\/a>TIC Ilirska Bistrica and RRA Zeleni Kras today presented a new gamified experience at Prem Castle during a press conference. In the thrilling adventure game “ESCAPE CASTLE\u00ae”, visitors solve engaging challenges while uncovering real castle history, Brkini legends, and cultural heritage. We are proud that Enigmarium was responsible for both the concept and execution of this exciting new game.

We recognize that in times that have significantly impacted the tourism industry, new, boutique, and individual experiences are key to revitalization. The new adventure game with escape room elements at Prem Castle is designed to offer an excellent opportunity for playful exploration of cultural heritage in small groups, such as families, groups of friends, or colleagues, while also enriching the local tourism offering.<\/h3>\n

The Escape Castle\u00ae Prem Castle project was developed as part of the Tourism Development in the Green Karst Destination<\/strong> initiative and the digitalization of cultural heritage<\/strong>, led by RRA Zeleni Kras<\/strong>. The company Arctur<\/strong> created a digital 3D model of the castle<\/strong>, while the concept, storyline, and execution<\/strong> of the experience were designed by Enigmarium\u00ae<\/strong>, one of the leading providers of gamified tourism products<\/strong> in the Alpe Adria region<\/strong>.<\/h3>\n

What is it about?<\/h2>\n

Did you know that once upon a time, a long time ago, something terrible happened at the castle?<\/em><\/p>\n

While her husband was away, the lady of the castle gave birth to a son. An evil witch disguised as a spinner turned the child into a cat. When the knight returned home, he asked for help from a krsnik \u2013 a special man with special skills and powers to fight evil on Earth.<\/em><\/p>\n

They went to the witch and the krsnik defeated her. He returned the child to the couple, who regained his human form. The krsnik turned the witch\u2019s soul into a solitary oak tree surrounded by thorns. Years passed, the krsnik died and, with him, the ancient knowledge.<\/em><\/p>\n

During the last restoration of the castle, the oak was cut down and since then, unusual things have been happening: objects are disappearing, strange signs are appearing and scary sounds can be heard. The locals live in mounting fear that the spirit of the evil witch has returned. Who would dare to chase the evil ghost away?<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Fortunately, Du\u0161ko Krsnik will come to your aid!<\/h3>\n

The game takes place via an app on a special device designed to ward off ghosts, which players receive at the reception in exchange for a deposit and by signing an agreement to the general terms and conditions.<\/h3>\n

The game lasts about one hour and takes place in small groups (2\u20134 players \/ up to 5 teams at a time), children play accompanied by parents or other adults.<\/h3>\n
