October \u2013 the Month of TERPECA Nominations!<\/h2><\/div>

TERPECA<\/strong> (Top Escape Rooms Project Enthusiasts\u2019 Choice Award<\/em>) is an international project aimed at recognizing the best escape rooms in the world<\/strong>, based on the experiences of the most passionate and seasoned escape room players LINK >><\/a><\/p>\n

Thanks to its strict rules<\/strong> and thoughtful methodology<\/strong>, TERPECA has become the most prestigious global ranking<\/strong> in the industry. Within the escape room community, it holds a status similar to the Oscars<\/strong> in the film world.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\ud83d\udc65 Who Can Participate?<\/h3><\/div>

\u270d\ufe0f Nominators<\/span><\/h4>\n

If you\u2019ve played at least 200 escape rooms<\/strong>, you can apply to be a nominator and select up to 9 rooms<\/strong> that you believe deserve international recognition.<\/p>\n

\u26a0\ufe0f Nominators may not<\/strong> nominate rooms they are connected to in any way (as owners, designers, staff, partners, etc.).
\ud83d\uddd3\ufe0f The nomination phase takes place every October<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\uddf3\ufe0f Voters<\/span><\/h4>\n

If you\u2019ve played more than 100 rooms<\/strong>, you\u2019re eligible to vote. Voters help determine the final rankings from the nominated games.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\uddee Why Every Slovenian Nomination Is a Big Deal<\/h3><\/div>

Slovenia is a wonderful escape room destination<\/strong> \u2013 but as a small country, we have very few nominators<\/strong>. Currently, we only have two Slovenian nominators<\/strong>: Nata\u0161a Poto\u010dnik<\/em> and Peter Ar\u010don<\/em> \u2013 and due to the rules, they cannot nominate their own games<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On top of that, fewer international nominators visit Slovenia<\/strong> compared to major global cities.<\/p>\n

That means that Slovenian rooms must impress foreign nominators<\/strong> \u2013 often players who have experienced over 3,500 escape rooms<\/strong> \u2013 and earn a spot among their top 9 favorites<\/strong>. That is truly an exceptional achievement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

So we are especially proud of every single nomination<\/strong> that a Slovenian room receives. And once again this year, we are crossing our fingers<\/strong> that Slovenia secures a place among the world\u2019s best escape room destinations.<\/p>\n
